'Xbs2 Colors 4.1' - Instrument Overlay for intuitive design + unlabeled functions (for Novation Bass Station 2)
This overlay is available in the following variant:
- Strong material: The 2-part overlay consists of a solid material (approx. 0.3 mm), which adheres only selectively and very mildly in some places. Thanks to these properties, it is very easy to apply, remove without residue and reposition, which is always possible (please follow the instructions). In addition, it is not necessary to loosen any screws or poti caps, because the two overlays are simply placed from above (after removing the protective paper of the fixing strips) - and ready!

General information:
The Novation Bass Station 2 is the completely revised and further developed version of its predecessor from the early 90s. The extremely advanced operation, as well as the fantastic sound, make this new synthesizer already a classic.
Over time, however, significant and extensive software updates with very useful functions have appeared (e.g. Micro Tuning, AFX, extended Sub OSC, Paraphon Mode, etc.). However, these valuable functions are now difficult to find due to the lack of labelling on the unit, so it often requires an unnecessary look into the manual.
The 'Xbs2 Colors' instrument overlay (skin, operating template, front foil) from mxpand provides a remedy. In addition to the alternative design, missing labels have also been added. In addition, the rear connections can now be read directly & quickly (no more turning of the instrument necessary).
By the way: The 'Xbs2 Colors' version differs from the 'Xbs2 Classic' version only in that the function groups are separated by color. The Classic version is available here: Xbs2 Classic
* The overlays (templates, foils, skins) are processed to a high quality, punched out for a precise fit and are manufactured in Germany in cooperation with our partners from the industry. An additional, matte protective layer makes them extremely robust and permanently protects the qualitative print (dual-layer process). The entire material consists of a stable synthetic substance, so the overlays are insensitive to dirt or moisture and therefore easy to clean. Thanks to the gentle fixation, the overlays form an ideal unit with the surface of the instrument, cannot slip - and remain in position even after the instrument has been transported.
